2026-2030 Business Plan
The YRT 2026–2030 Business Plan outlines how we will expand and enhance transit service to support York Region’s growing communities and changing customer and travel needs over the next five years. Visit the Business Plan page to learn more.
2026 Annual Transit Plan
The 2026 Annual Transit Plan identifies 33 route and service changes. Some identified changes have already been implemented due to ridership increases and the need for additional service.
The implementation of any transit initiative is dependent on ridership levels and shifting travel patterns. The 2026 Annual Transit Plan manages shifting ridership distribution by improving frequency along key corridors, introducing new services and expanding service coverage.
This document was developed with input collected through extensive partner consultation, customer feedback, route analysis and service reviews.
