Viva blue/blue B

The Viva blue branch operating between Bernard Terminal and Finch GO Bus Terminal will be renamed Viva blue B.

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to match ridership demand south of Bernard Terminal on Viva blue B.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

• Morning rush hour – from 12 to approximately every 9 minutes
• Midday – from 18 to approximately every 12 minutes
• Afternoon rush hour – from 14 to approximately every 10 minutes

First and last trips will be adjusted.

Saturdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to match ridership demand south of Bernard Terminal on Viva blue B.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

• Morning – from 17 to approximately every 12 minutes
• Midday – from 17 to approximately every 13 minutes
• Evening – from 17 to approximately every 13 minutes

First and last trips will be adjusted.

Sunday/Holidays:

Schedules will be adjusted to match ridership demand south of Bernard Terminal on Viva blue B.  

Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

• Morning – from 24 to approximately every 15 minutes
• Midday – from 24 approximately every 15 minutes
• Evening – from 24 approximately every 15 minutes

First and last trips will be adjusted.

Viva purple/purple A

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted to match ridership demand.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows: 

• Midday – from 13 to 11 minutes (combined)
• Afternoon rush hour – from 9 to 8 minutes (combined)
• Evening – from 20 to 15 minutes (combined)

First and last trips will be adjusted.

Viva pink

Weekdays:

Viva Pink will be discontinued to reduce duplication of service on Yonge Street and Highway 7. The resources saved will be used to improve frequency on Viva blue/blue B and purple/purple A to match ridership demand.

This service was suspended in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Route 9 – Ninth Line

Stop adjustment:

To minimize walking distance for travellers, an additional southbound stop will be installed at Reeves Way Boulevard/Northway Avenue (stop 7475).

Route 20 – Jane

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted with an earlier northbound trip.

• First northbound trip departing from Pioneer Village Terminal (stop 7197) at 4:49 a.m. instead of 5:22 a.m.

Route 33 – Wellington-Leslie

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows: 

• Morning rush hour - every 47 minutes
• Midday - every 47 minutes
• Afternoon rush hour - every 52 minutes
• Evening - every 47 minutes

Saturdays:

Schedules will be adjusted.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows: 

• Morning - every 40 minutes
• Midday - every 48-50 minutes
• Evening - every 47 minutes

Route 44 – Bristol

Stop adjustments:

New stops will be serviced by Route 44 – Bristol:

• Davis Drive/William Booth Avenue (stop 7476)
• Davis Drive/Mitchell Place (stop 7477)

These stops will not be reflected on YRT Trip Planner or other trip planning tools until December 22, 2024.

Route 57 – Mulock

Stop adjustments:

New stops will be serviced by Route 57 - Mulock:

• Davis Drive/William Booth Avenue (stop 7476)
• Davis Drive/Mitchell Place (stop 7477)

These stops will not be reflected on YRT Trip Planner or other trip planning tools until December 22, 2024.

Route 99 – Yonge

Weekdays:

Schedules will be adjusted.

Frequency will be adjusted as follows: 

• Early morning – every 40 minutes
• Morning rush hour – every 35 minutes
• Midday – every 54 minutes
• Afternoon rush hour –every 30 minutes
• Evening – every 30 minutes

First and last trips will be adjusted.

Route 320 – Jane Express

Schedules will be adjusted to match Vaughan Mills Mall’s business hours and ridership demand. Additional frequency will be provided on Friday, November 29 (Black Friday).

Schedules will be adjusted to match Canada’s Wonderland Winterfest hours.

Weekdays/Saturdays/Sundays/Holidays:

• Schedules will be adjusted
• First and last trips will be adjusted

Route 360 – Vaughan Mills/Wonderland

Schedules will be adjusted to match Canada’s Wonderland Winterfest and Vaughan Mills Mall’s business hours and ridership demand.

• Special Friday service will be provided to accommodate Winterfest and Black Friday hours
• Special weekday service will be provided in the last week before the holidays to match demand

Route 414 - St. Katharine Drexel School Special

Service Adjustments:

• An additional stop will be installed at Reeves Way Boulevard/Northway Avenue (stop 7475)
• Schedules will be adjusted
• The morning trip from Hoover Park Drive/Sandiford Drive (stop 7278) will depart at 8:35 a.m. instead of 8:33 a.m.

Effective Sunday, November 17, 2024:

An additional northbound trip will depart from Warden Subway Station at 10 p.m.

Service span will be adjusted as follows:

• The last northbound trip will depart from Warden Subway Station at 10 p.m. instead of 9:46 p.m.

Saturdays:

An additional northbound trip will depart from Warden Subway Station at 10:20 p.m.
