December 22, 2024 service changes
Service changes will begin Sunday, December 22, 2024. Schedule and route changes will be made to adjust to changing customer demand.

Route 90 – Leslie |

The additional northbound trip departing from Steeles Avenue/Don Mills Road (stop 1936) at 2:39 p.m. for St. Robert Catholic High School will be suspended during the school holidays. The trip will be resume on January 6, 2025. Visit our Trip Planner for updated schedules. |
Route 91A – Bayview |
|
The additional northbound trips departing from Bayview Avenue/John Street (stop 2894) at 3.06 p.m. and 3:08 p.m. for Thornlea Secondary School will be suspended during the school holidays. The trip will be resume on January 6, 2025. Visit our Trip Planner for updated schedules. |

All High School Special routes (400-series) will be suspended from Monday, December 23, 2024 to Friday, January 3, 2025 for the holiday season, resuming on Monday, January 6, 2025. |
New Year's Eve Service – Tuesday, December 31, 2024 |

FREE travel after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 on all YRT and TTC routes operating north of Steeles Avenue in York Region. Service will be extended on select YRT routes until approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Extended late-night service for the following YRT routes on December 31:Viva blue

Route 7 – Martin Grove |

Weekend/Holidays: Route 7 – Martin Grove will be revised to provide weekend/holiday service south of Steeles Avenue to Humber Polytechnic. Weekend/holiday service along Steeles Avenue will be discontinued. Travellers may use TTC Route 60 – Steeles West or 960 – Steeles West Express. Saturdays: Frequency will be adjusted as follows:

Route 25 – Major Mackenzie |

Route 85 – Rutherford |

Route 85 will be revised to enter and exit Vaughan Mills Terminal via Jane Street to reduce delays. Eastbound stop 3346 at Vaughan Mills Mall will no longer be serviced and will be removed. Customers can use stop 3057 at Rutherford Road/Julliard Drive instead. Westbound stop 3030 at Rutherford Road/Jane Street will no longer be serviced and will be removed. Travellers can board at stop 7481 at Rutherford Road/Julliard Drive instead. Note: Trip planning tools will not reflect Route 85 servicing stop 7481 until April 27, 2025. Route 411 – Markham District School Special via Box Grove |
|
Weekdays: Route 411 will be improved to better serve the Box Grove community. Route 411 will no longer service Kenilworth Gate, Stoney Stanton Road, and Bur Oak Avenue to improve travel times for students traveling south of Highway 407. Students may use Route 416 – Markham District School Special via Ninth Line to continue travelling to Kenilworth Gate, Stoney Stanton Road and Bur Oak Avenue. The morning trip will be adjusted:

Route 430 – Sacred Heart School Special via Main |

Weekdays: Due to a load restriction on a bridge on Queen Street, Route 430 has been revised to use Gorham Street for travel to and from Sacred Heart Catholic High School. Note: This change was made operationally in March 2023, due to construction on Queen Street. The morning trip will depart from Newmarket Terminal (stop 4187) at 7:32 a.m. instead of 7:35 a.m. Visit our Trip Planner for schedules. |
Route 473 – Stephen Lewis School Special via Thomas Cook |

Weekdays: Schedules will be adjusted. The morning trip will be adjusted to depart from Dimarino Drive/Lady Fenyrose Avenue (stop 6059) at 7:46 a.m. Visit our Trip Planner for schedules. |
TTC Route 102D - Markham Rd |
| Sundays/holidays:
Morning and afternoon frequency will be adjusted to meet travel demand. Frequency will be adjusted between 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from 60 to 30 minutes. First northbound and southbound trips will be adjusted. Visit our Trip Planner for schedules. |
